I've been reading these comics for hours, and part of me started wondering if there were any *other* long, ahem, parts that tengu have besides the nose, and whether they maybe get babies by seducing *willing* human ladies by impressing them with their long... Noses. And maybe nose length is correlated with other kinds of length... So it's a bit like peacocks, showing off for the ladies...

Ohhh!! I read somewhere about Harpies and Tengus mating every now and then which result in the eggs/ offspring. Can't remember where i saw that one though.

@lil8isis I remember reading that on Humon's Manala Next Door comic once, as a little joke, but I can't recall ever hearing otherwise. The Ancient Greeks never interacted with the Japanese so that's probably a modern combination of the two myths.

Pathfinder has rules for playing a tengu, now i understand why they can have a long nose form.

All male? Someone's never heard of Aya, Momiji, or Hatate from Touhou (yes, I'm aware the actual myth had them all as men, I just wanted to make a Touhou joke)
