Well Men

For some reason a lot of people suddenly started asking about Well Men, so I made one of my messy info pictures for them.

This is literally all the info there is on Well Men as far as I know. Not a lot, but it gives you a lot of room for story ideas.

This seems to me to obviously be a story used to explain people dying from water born diseases after drinking bad well water (like cholera). This also explains why the church can't get rid of wellmen, and why throwing gold into the well gets rid of it (gold has antibacterial properties)

Nordic folklore : *Creates a scare creature and leaves some interpretation to them.*
Humon comics: *Draws one with great hair, sexy body and a massive penis.*
I love this comic.

*Mysterious meteorite crashes on the blasted heath outside my house*
*Weird colour inside tries to live in my well*
"oh, didn't realise there was already someone was living here." *Weird glow shuffles out awkwardly and lives in the attic instead*

From where are you getting all that information about mythological creatures?
