Lately people have been asking if there is any symbolism to the colors I give the characters in this series, but the answer is no. I simply color code them so people can quickly tell them apart and have started to use a wider range of colors for variety's sake because I got sick of pink and blue.

Doesn't everybody.
"does this mean that the parenting of mammals is based of the suppressed D.N.A of this fish?"
No. It means that the discus have a reather unique ofspring-rearing biology.
Another interesting idea. Nature is beautiful and diverse, so many paths and solutions, experiments and resolutions. I am thrilled to witness each new piece. ^^
The funny thing is that it also happens in humans. Human males are just one hormone away of developing breast and producing milk; there have been many known instances of males nuturing children.
I guess I have to ask if discus fish are freshwater or salt - I imagine it would be really difficult for the discus to take care of their young in the ocean currents.
O
