My trip back to Denmark made me realize that women have become the preferred main characters in Danish crime shows. The men still get their own shows, but the ladies are running the scene at the moment.
From left to right:
Dicte Svendsen from "Dicte"
Crime reporter. Sneaky lady who has her own methods of getting information.
Anna Pihl from "Anna Pihl"
Policeofficer. Just doing her job and won't take no one's shit.
Sarah Lund from "Forbrydelsen" (The Killing)
Detective inspector. Depressed and boderline autistic, but dedicated and headstrong.
Jasminna el Murad from "Livvagterne" (The Protectors)
Bodyguard. If you want to kill the person under her protection you'll have to get past her first, and that's not happening.
Ingrid Dahl from "Rejseholdet" (Unit One)
Detective Chief Inspector. Tough lady who can have fun with her team, but will put down her foot and give them a good yelling if they don't do their jobs.
