i do the hug with pat on back for friends, full hug if its been ages since ive seen that friend or family if i see them often "each day i just smile and waive. and if its someone i like i give them a full bear hug since im a giant guy after all. and chubby

my female friends tend to like it when i hug mostly since im cuddly and soft.

Here in the Philippines, women hug in all 3 stages, even as friends. For Men they do up to "hug with pats on the back" as friends, and up to a Full Hug as family and close friends.
