Fertility Siblings 27 8, 12:53pm

@humon I think by "role" they do mean emphasis on war and battle. Fertility and sex absolutely provoke thoughts of sturdy, curvy women capable of good breeding, however, war and battle are notorious for times when peoples bodies were hardened by physically demanding battle, travel, and food rationing.
I don't think it's sexist to relate these things to a fit woman. In conjunction with fertility and sex, I can only imagine the anime caliber sex idol this description can evoke in some.
And Odin being depicted as an old man seems to me like a way of insinuating that he is well seasoned and therefor knowledgeable and severely skilled. As any war God would be.

Freyr being larger makes sense to me due to prosperity and harvest, as long as the image of him being able to protect women is there which can be achieved at any size really. Sadly, a big hulking man with a large penis gets the point across to the general masses who don't think very deeply about this stuff.

Personally, I love this art style, especially the way thicker men and women are depicted. I'd like to think this is Freya post war free to love and feast and make sweet sweet love.
Thanks for sharing your inspiring ideas.
