Congrats on finding this doctor! I was at the hospital recently and I kept on getting the side eye after listening my health conditions, it was always "No diabetes? No high blood pressure? High Cholesterol?" NOPE.
I moved and now I'm at a new doctor so the dance has started again, at least this one is listening to my concerns about my thyroid (family history).
Conversely, my Husband and his family are naturally very skinny people despite their very bad dietary habits (lots of junk food, soda, etc) yet the topic of diet never comes up with them whenever they visit the doctor.
When my husband started living with me he got a lot healthier and a lot of his health problems lessened.
